The #1 focus of a Wholesale Investor should be to build a buyers list online. This is how real estate deals can be sold in a matter of hours. If you’re a wholesaler you’ll want to build a buyers list through many different channels.

Whether it means going to local networking meetings, asking for referrals, placing ads, setting up your own website, or even taking advantage of the internet and using Social Networking Sites like Facebook.

One of my mentors, Steve Schuitt, has just created an awesome video showing people how to add an opt-in box on their facebook profile. Anyone in your network can sign up for your buyers list directly from your facebook profile page. This isn’t just how to build a list for buyers. It can be for any type of mailing list you want. You’ll see what I mean.

Allow me to explain…

1. Steve Schuitt is my Video Creation Mentor or should I say Sensei. Any video of mine that you see is inspired by Steve. He is the Bruce Lee of Social Media Marketing. Hands Down! He teaches all his “Ninjas” (myself included ) how to leverage sites like youtube, twitter, & facebook to brand ourselves, help others, and make money in the process. 2. I like to keep it simple: An Opt In Box is simply a web form that asks for your name, email, and phone number in exchange for something of some sort of value or information. It is completely voluntary and gives you the Option of signing up. (That’s why they call it Opt-In ) Double Opt-In is the same concept. However, the only difference is that you have to confirm that you really wanted to sign up. Typically, you’ll get an email with instructions on how to confirm your subscription immediately after you sign up. The reason you’ll see some web owners use Double Opt In is simple: We Hate S-P-A-M!

3. Facebook is a Social Networking Site that allows individuals to share and connect with friends from high school, family, co-workers, new friends, associates, etc. You can form groups on facebook and socialize with like-minded people who are interested in the same topic you are.

What Does This have to do with Real Estate Investing?

Everything!

You can easily connect with other Real Estate Investors (New & Seasoned), Real Estate Agents, Brokers, Lenders, Mortgage Brokers, Sellers, Buyers…etc.. You name it! This is a great way to get help on your real estate deals, help others, find deals, get your deals sold, etc. It’s definitely something you’ll want to adopt into your business.
