@Reggie,

Amen To That bro. God is definitely the force behind any and all blessings that come into our lives. The quote you mentioned, "To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did" is one of my favorite quotes and it is so true.

Family is a huge propeller that can push you out of your comfort zone and allow you to do things you never imagined.

One of my mentors put it to me this way, "If you keep procrastinating and over analyzing when it comes to your goals, you're putting your family at stake". Once he put it to me that way, my view on going after my goals changed dramatically!

Whats JLamar,

Man reading your life story sounds similar to mine, the only difference is that you started out earlier whereas I procrastinated.I commend you for that.
One of the things you expressed, relative to our similarities, is having a job in which you are making money for an employer who is not paying you for what your worth. Well I got tired of being sick and tired...albeit it was after I was terminated, in January for what they claimed as violations of company policy, however the real reason was due to the fact that I had been injured on the job and began to cost them money.
But I digress on that because it has freed up my time so that I can really concentrate on my studies for my degree and pursue a career in real estate simultaneously.
Also I truly believe that God is setting me up for something bigger and better...which reminds me of something I read that has inspired and continues to inspire me and is relative to this situation...it goes like this:
"To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did...when God allows something to be taken or removed from your grasp...He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Let these words linger in your heart...think on them in your mind...so that when unsavory circumstances visit you will have assurance that the Will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you"...
Now, don't get me wrong about losing the job...it hurt financially...but God is good...just as lost my job, my wife, who had been out of work for an entire year was hired by one of the largest employers in Georgia with a decent salary.
Me, being the man I am, I don't want my wife carrying the load...I want that stress to be on me. Which is another reason why I am getting into real estate...it will also enable me to provide for my wife and kids more efficiently, as well as enabling me to spend more time with them...so I've got to make this work.
I look forward to building a lucrative business relationship with you...
