Why You Shouldn’t worry about the Recession
-
My name is J.Lamar Ferren and I’d like to welcome you to my blog. For those of you who don’t know who I am… I’m a 25 year old Real Estate Investor / Online Marketer out of Woodbridge, VA. I’m married with 3 children and I’m finally in the position to Live Life On My Terms. It’s truly incredible to be able to spend more time with my family, travel, and meet like minded individuals who share my aspiration for Entrepreneurial Success and Progress.
It wasn’t a piece of cake though… I had to learn the hard way. I went 2 straight years without generating any income for my business when I first got started and I can tell you straight up… IT SUCKED. Now I did have a job to hold my family and I over… but I was miserable every day because I didn’t want to be there.
From the moment the alarm clock rang, and having to get up at 4:45am. Getting cleaned up and going to work for someone I didn’t want to want to work for…
Basically I was helping them grow their business if you really think about it. I was underpaid and over worked. It wasn’t fair at all.
It wasn’t until I stopped feeling sorry for myself and got sick and tired of being sick and tired did things begin to change.
I knew that I could really expand my horizons with Online Marketing and Real Estate Investing and I didn’t want to just throw those dreams away like they were just some stupid fantasies. That is when I contacted my Mentor and told him that I’m ready to make it happen.
I feel like God has truly blessed my family and I and we are now in the position to bring Change to our own life and help as many people as we can along the way.
The goal of this blog is to simply show you that the RECESSION is a GoldMine and there are so many ways that you can make money and help others do the same. Sadly the media will tell you the exact opposite and as people get caught up in the hype, they’ll never achieve their goals and dreams.
To be honest, Real Estate Investing has never been so promising. People all around the world are scooping up great investments and now is your time to join them.
Online Marketing is the way to go when you really think about it. Statistics show that 80% of Home Buyers are online looking for their next dream home. Why not position yourself, so you can be right in front of them. Using methods such as Web 2.0 are ways that you can easily generate free traffic and leads for vitually any business… and yes you can even do it with Real Estate Investing.
What does marketing have to do with Real Estate Investing?
My Answer: Everything!!
My question to you is… What do you think about the current state of our economy and what will you do about it? Will you rely on the Government or will you take matters into your own hands?

Whats JLamar,
Man reading your life story sounds similar to mine, the only difference is that you started out earlier whereas I procrastinated.I commend you for that.
One of the things you expressed, relative to our similarities, is having a job in which you are making money for an employer who is not paying you for what your worth. Well I got tired of being sick and tired…albeit it was after I was terminated, in January for what they claimed as violations of company policy, however the real reason was due to the fact that I had been injured on the job and began to cost them money.
But I digress on that because it has freed up my time so that I can really concentrate on my studies for my degree and pursue a career in real estate simultaneously.
Also I truly believe that God is setting me up for something bigger and better…which reminds me of something I read that has inspired and continues to inspire me and is relative to this situation…it goes like this:
“To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did…when God allows something to be taken or removed from your grasp…He’s not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Let these words linger in your heart…think on them in your mind…so that when unsavory circumstances visit you will have assurance that the Will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you”…
Now, don’t get me wrong about losing the job…it hurt financially…but God is good…just as lost my job, my wife, who had been out of work for an entire year was hired by one of the largest employers in Georgia with a decent salary.
Me, being the man I am, I don’t want my wife carrying the load…I want that stress to be on me. Which is another reason why I am getting into real estate…it will also enable me to provide for my wife and kids more efficiently, as well as enabling me to spend more time with them…so I’ve got to make this work.
I look forward to building a lucrative business relationship with you…

@Reggie,
Amen To That bro. God is definitely the force behind any and all blessings that come into our lives. The quote you mentioned, “To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did” is one of my favorite quotes and it is so true.
Family is a huge propeller that can push you out of your comfort zone and allow you to do things you never imagined.
One of my mentors put it to me this way, “If you keep procrastinating and over analyzing when it comes to your goals, you’re putting your family at stake”. Once he put it to me that way, my view on going after my goals changed dramatically!
