Always __________ the money in Real Estate!

    JL here and I wanted to pass on some wisdom that my mentor passed on to me about 2 years ago. This literally saved my real estate business and has allowed me and other investors to do real estate deals even when the market was at its worst.

    How was it possible?

    Well, when it comes to Real Estate Investing there are a couple of golden rules you need to follow and there is one rule that is an absolute MUST FOLLOW if you want to survive in this business. Not following this rule can ruin your business and I don’t say this as an opinion.

    I’m saying this as a fact!

    Many investors & real estate agents called it quits when the market drove into the ground 2 years ago. A lot of businesses took a severe plunge and it literally effected the lives of many in a negative way. If new investors were already sitting on the sidelines, then the market crashing served as “proof” that it was not the time to invest in real estate.

    Of course if you’ve been on my list for the past 2 years, then you know that this wasn’t necessarily the case and that you could still do deals, even when the market was hurting.

    Why didn’t everyone know that you could still do deals?

    It’s simple, the investors and real estate agents that called it quits either didn’t know or simply didn’t want to follow the rule. I’d be willing to lean more towards the fact that they didn’t know about it because knowing this rule and now following it while you see your business failing is just plain stubborn. Then again, there are some stubborn people out there. lol

    I almost didn’t follow the rule either and was ready to call it a day until I actually found out what it was. Not only that, but I saw what was coming before it came just by surrounding myself with those who followed this rule.

    At this point you’re probably saying to yourself,

    “Ok J…What is this darn rule you’re going on about?

    No need to guess, I’m going to tell you right now…

    The rule is simple:

    “Always FOLLOW the money in Real Estate!”

    This rule alone will guarantee that money stays in your pocket by allowing you to be on top of what is going on in the market and adjusting your business accordingly. This isn’t to say that you need to go out and learn any and every strategy and that you need to and hop from course to course just in case the market shifts.

    The bottom line is that when the market does shift, you need to be in a mentality of FOLLOWING the money and not be ready to call it quits or declare that Residential or Commercial real estate is dead.

    Don’t get stuck in the mentality of only doing business using traditional strategies and methods. That mentality has always been proven to hurt businesses and those that steer towards adjusting with the times will always come out on top.

    As long as people continue to buy and sell houses, real estate will always be one of the greatest investments in American history…period!
